Narrow Nose Questions

Question:
My nose is too thin, how will surgery fix it?

Answer:
If your nose is too thin for your face, then Dr. Becker can widen it. This is not a common problem, but it does occur, as you have seen.

If the nose is too narrow at the top, at the bony portion, then Dr. Becker will cut the nasal bones and reposition them outward, to widen this area. If the nose is too narrow at the middle, the cartilaginous portion, then you may need spreader grafts to widen this area, like the patient shown here. These grafts are placed beneath your nasal bridge and are intended to be NOT visible and NOT palpable.
