Because the skin tends to be thicker, in Hispanic rhinoplasty patient who requests significant refinement, there may be a limitation to what can be accomplished due to the thickness of the skin.

Dr. Becker does not use artificial implants, but if the patient has surgery where artificial material – Gortex, Silastic, and others – are used, then there are potentially debilitating and uncorrectable risks associated with this.
