Finesse Rhinoplasty

Question:
I've heard that the tip swelling takes longer to go down, is that true?

Answer:
It probably takes a little longer for tip swelling to go down, compared to the rest of the nose. Also, since the tip is the part of the nose that sticks out the farthest, this swelling has nowhere to hide, and so it seems worse to the patient. Even so, it is fortunate that by 7-10 days virtually all patients feel comfortable being back in the public eye.
