Question:
I'm coming from New York . There are other NY surgeons, but I'd like to go to you. Is it far? How often do I need to return?

Answer:
In the US, patients come from as far away as Miami, Los Angeles, Maine, and throughout the country. From abroad, patients have come from England, Amsterdam, Mexico, and elsewhere.

A large number of patients come from New York. Our New Yorkers tell us that it is a roughly 2 to 2 hour drive.

Regardless of where you are coming from, out-of-towners typically come for a consultation, and once a surgical date is chosen, they come the day before, to be seen again to review the surgical plan, and to get settled in. The patient stays overnight and is seen the next day, and then returns in one week for removal of the nasal splint. After that, Dr. Becker will work out a schedule of followup that will be convenient for you.
