Why Choose
Rhinoplasty is a surgical procedure that goes far beyond its surface-level implications. It involves intricate adjustments to the nose’s structure, shape, and function, making it one of the most complex surgical procedures in the field of plastic surgery. This complexity arises from the nose’s central role in facial appearances and its intricate anatomy, where even minor adjustments can have a profound impact. As such, entrusting your nose to an experienced and skilled rhinoplasty surgeon is not merely a recommendation; it’s a necessity.
Dr. Daniel Becker, a highly regarded and experienced facial plastic surgeon, understands the significance of this decision. Rhinoplasty isn’t just a surgical procedure; it’s an art form that requires finesse and a deep understanding of facial appearances.
Real Patient Review
"Joe and I want to thank you for all your concern, time and attention before, during and after surgery. Any anxious feelings I had were soon gone."
Curriculum
Dr. Becker graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College in 1986 and was awarded a full-merit scholarship to attend the University of Virginia Medical School. He completed training in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Virginia Medical Center and then completed a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago, subsequently joining the faculty at the University of Pennsylvania in 1997.
The Personalized Approach
Experience Matters
Dr. Becker’s personal philosophy of rhinoplasty focuses on one essential goal – a result that makes the patient happy. With this in mind, he takes a conservative approach to rhinoplasty and seeks natural-looking results. He avoids over-aggressive resection maneuvers. He focuses on maintaining structural support and seeks a natural “un-operated” appearance. Dr. Becker has provided before and after photos on his websites that reflect that approach.
Ultimately, success in rhinoplasty is based on well-developed judgment, wisdom, and accumulated knowledge and experience. Like most surgeries, nose surgery is both a science and an art. Skill comes from experience and wisdom, combined with a measure of talent. Explore this website and learn about the possibilities.
